We love making traditional items, and these trapper baskets are awesome.

Our first attempt at them was a couple of years ago, and they have been used on hikes, outings, general load everything and tramp around.

We got into making the baskets after we made a harness rig for one a fellow dropped off to us. His was made of spruce and ash. We looked and marvelled at it, and I sort of reversed engineered plans to make one from his, along with some video I had watched on the process.

I measured every strand for width and length and make a pattern from it. and that is what I used for Heather and I to make our first ones.

Now after some use and being knocked around the shop for a couple of years and field tested, it was time to add them to our line of products.
