As previously mentioned we have two suppliers who have started to ship items again, although in limited quantities. One supplier has already stopped due to their limited ability to re-supply.

I had suspected this would happen and still stand by our decision to leave the shop closed until it is safe for everyone, and supplies can be readily available.

We enjoy the work we do, it is a fun job to have. We count ourselves fortunate that our shop, tools, etc are all paid for, Our shop runs on zero debt. We will not suffer some of the hardships that other small business have and will go thru.

Here in New Brunswick we have not been hit as severely as other parts of Canada, and I count ourselves very fortunate for that so far, and hope that we can continue on our current path to recovery and end of this invisible mennace.

We are getting supplies in as we can to be fully restocked as soon as possible, the few supply orders I have made have yet to arrive and with extended processing and shipping times. At the current shipping time frames it would take to the middle to end of May.

Typically these resupply orders take 3 to 10 days. We have several parcels that are either “processing” or “shipped ” but the tracking numbers are showing no movement. We understand this is due to the shipping companies experiencing higher volumes and logistic issues.

Our government is looking at reopening the economy in stages as long as we continue on our current status or trending of infections. This will be good for other small businesses as long as they can get resupplied as well.

We hope everyone is doing their part to stay safe and stay well during these interesting times. Keep checking back with us on any further announcements and stay safe!

Cheers
